I think it’s interesting that things are used a general purpose to identify you, even if you don’t identify with those things. I am both white and a man, and I am lucky that those things aren’t against how I view myself, but I wouldn’t use them to describe me?On twitter.com

I don’t really think of myself as white I think of myself as Italian, and even then it doesn’t inform much except some familial customs. Same with being a man? What is masculinity and why does it define me? It doesn’t, but society says it does?Permalink On twitter.com
