      @KevyPride It’s for the exact reason you describe, huge hoops to go through and get. If someone wanted to use follow me magmar in gen 7 with eviolite, they’d have to own a GameCube, gba, gba game, original ds with a gba slot, ds game, and a 3ds with bank just to get it into that game!

    @KevyPride So preventing legacy moves is important twofold, it prevents the need for old games and it lets them balance which moves they are okay with on what Pokémon for that season.
