    @TamashiiHiroka Honestly this can come off snobby but it just isn’t. Movies are adaptations of a book, so usually the story has to be heavily altered to work well in a different format and then it doesn’t. Or they do alter it, but the changes are so drastic something core about the story changes

      @TamashiiHiroka It’s really hard to look at a piece of media you’ve already read and just watch a different version of it without comparing the two, but that’s kinda the best way. Look at the new thing as it’s own standalone product / supplementary
