      @jlpn0dre I would absolutely argue that the MMO final fantasy games are spin offs despite them being numbered entries. The point is that what is and isn’t mainline is useless, because radically changing mechanics temporarily while keeping it mainline is not informative

    @jlpn0dre Argue with me all you want that LGPE or Arceus are mainline, but if they stay one off experiments that we never see the same style of, they are not core experiences. Just because a corporation wants me to think they are, doesn’t mean they are. It’s subjective
