        @sfc_moogle I would be surprised if the limit on the flash was low enough to be ruined by saving. The games usually write to save ram and then subsequently send it to the flash chip only when called. flash memory has a write limit, but it should be way more than its possible to save ever.

      @sfc_moogle Do you have documentation that gba games flash memory have reached the save limit? I’d love to read it. Anecdotally I’ve got tons of flash saving gba games that haven’t had this issue and I save a ton.

    @sfc_moogle Looking into it flash memory and EEPROM chips are rated for min 10,000 saves, and the FRAM chips are significantly more durable, and there are FRAM chips like FE7. I would be worried about a flash chip with an auto saving game though.
