      1. Joe emulators have been doing this connectivity for 15 years including the online play. The reason this isn’t being done is because it’s not worth the effort to them and they think it won’t turn a profit if the put that effort in. @JoeMerrick/1569723625132924928

      I get it, there’s a lot of negativity around this, and yes online randbats and online mini games will be fun. But it’s a crying shame this game didn’t get released in tandem with the VC releases way back when.

    I think it’s fully justified to critique these lazy emulator releases from Nintendo. They’ve been doing it for years with no backlash. Pokémon RBY VC was awful! No savestates, no online play, and only black and white? I didn’t play those games in black/white, I used gbc colors

      And their method of transport to bank was also the laziest solution. Just delete the Pokémon except species / shiny / name and roll a new one.
