Despite loving the 2D Metroid games, I have not been able to enjoy more than 1 hour Metroid Prime. Both GC and Wii It's insane how it misses everything that make 2D Metroids fun. It retains almost nothing I enjoy about them that the 7 2D games, across many developers, all retain.Permalink On twitter.com

I think it's got to do with speed. All the 2D Games are very fast paced games, either literally with Samus' movespeed/action flow, or short length like Return of Samus on GB. Or both, in ZM/Fusions/Dreads case. The 3D games are all insanely long and you move slow lol.On twitter.com
