S - FRLG/E have an insane variety of both RNG methods(TTV, Initial Seeds, Painting, Battle Records, ACE) and targets(legends+events). On top of this, there's almost no luck and the 1/60 timing window is fun to master. I highly recommend anyone give these games manips a try.2/11

A - BW1 are very consistent to manip in, so it makes learning RNG easy and has a lot of targets to choose from. RS are similar to E, but have less methods/targets, but do have TID/SID Manips, so they're my #1 recommended starting point for newbies to RNG for simplicity. 3/11

A cont. - Gen 4 games are about the same, but HGSS are slightly better than DPPt on account of better verification through Irwin/more targets/more methods. They're slightly more difficult than BW1, so they go lower than it, and they're less fun than RS, so lower there too. 4/11

A cont. G1 are fun to manip in learn, the movement techniques are like nothing else on this list, but the ultra limited nature of it right now hurts them greatly. Try the Zapdos I found if you haven't, though! 5/11

B - BW2 have more targets than BW1, but the timer0 inconsistency makes them frustrating and unfun to manip in compared to it. Sorta boring but they're more consistent than everything else and have lots of cool Pokemon. 6/11

B cont. - SM/USUM are 60fps skill based games, but the seed resetting and inconsistency of blinking NPCs can make them very annoying. They do have cool methods like QR Code and blinks, and simple RNGs are fun enough, but learning the initial seed finding is a put off. 7/11

B cont. - Colo has the same problem as G7 where you get stuck resetting for a seed, but it also takes too long for everything. Most times single attempts are a 20+ minute process. Method+target variety, skill execution, and the ease of some manips put it this high though. 8/11

C - XY/ORAS are the same as G7, but seed resetting takes WAY too long, you need a decent computer to do it, and since you have to find your seed from fossils, moving from one area to another causes big inconsistencies sometimes. I have a soft spot for it though idk why. 9/11

D - SWSH only has Raid or Overworld RNGs. Raids are boring and take a long time and require glitches(date skip) and hurt my hands, but it's cool to share mons with people. OWRNG is cooler, but seed resetting and 128 inputs are MISERABLE. 10/11

E - BDSP requires external hardware, seed resetting, and waiting a long ass time once the seed is found. It's like colo but less skillful, fun, or interesting. XD is almost the same as BDSP but with no automation to watch your guy wiggle and no unique methods. It sucks. 11/11
