      1. CRTs are literally how the games were designed to be viewed and played. Your fancy upscalers and sharp pixels that look like emulators are not what these games are supposed to look like. Certain systems even use interlacing to display more colors. @Gen3Hunter/1614801565268987904

      The ONLY reason I use my HDTV for everything is for lack of space for a separate CRTV for everything. Until progressive scan, aka GameCube/PS2 era, it’s all CRT only. Minimal lag, proper visuals, etc. It’s like preferring to play on an unmodded gba. Authenticity

    And for the record, when I say “are supposed to look like”, that is objective, not subjective. They were designed and tested on CRTs, they were made for CRTs. They planned the visuals using them. You can prefer the sharp pixels, no hate, but it’s the truth and more authentic.
