  1. I think one of my number one complaints in the most recent video is that everyone going to WCS should own BDSP, SWSH+DLC, or PLA cuz they’re Pokémon fans. But it hasn’t been required that you KEEP old Pokémon games for mons since gen 5.

      In addition, many vgc players skipped PLA and BDSP because they’re effectively spin offs with no circuit. No one thought they’d be relevant at all, and if you don’t like the single player why buy the games? This also hurts newer players getting into the circuit via showdown.

        Lastly, this really fucks over juniors and seniors, who are less financially free than an adult. They have to hope their parents will buy them shit. Like requiring old games is ONLY a negative. I legit see ZERO positives for it.
