    @norainthefuture So the first screenshot is just the title screen timer1 seeding, which works. But the second one is just of someone making their own seeding method using the timer1. But in the code for FRLG and Em is the seedwithrtc function.

      @norainthefuture You can see it here in the emerald dissasembly. If emerald didn't want to remove the timer1 seeding that FRLG uses, they wouldn't have. But that function isn't even in the game. They just removed the FRLG intentionally, but forgot to reenable this one.

        @norainthefuture Doesn't matter legality wise, they're both 16 bit seeds. This was more of a fact for people doing rng manips, rather than shiny hunters. I made a patched emerald using the FRLG method for @ShinyCollector_ several years ago on a bootleg cart I had.
