I think spreading misinfo is bad, and it is your duty to correct it if you're sharing it. It's a two party responsibility. You make sure information you share is truthful, and if you think something might not be, you check it.

If you share a post dunking on him, but don't mention that megan foxes kids aren't trans, it makes sense to think well there's nothing wrong with that part of the post. It's an endorsement of truth from the op. And posters should be careful about that
