      @misterhappybruv That is not nessecarily true, and on top of that, even if the DOJs standing policy is to not criminally charge presidents, it does not require impeachment to charge them & impeachment isn't necessary. A president can be charged after they leave office normally

    @misterhappybruv The simple fact is the two processes are not linked literally in any way. They are two separate investigations. You can not be convicted in an impeachment trial and be convicted out of office for crimes, etc.
