  1. I think my fav thing from VGC compared to smogon is the timer. I really enjoy the 30-45 second timer pressure. I guess on showdown it's not a huge deal, but on cartridge short timers are kind required cuz of the length of animations anyway. Really enjoy the pressure of them.

      Some people think the chess timer+calcs lets people play closer to peak, and that's better for the game, which is true. But I enjoy the slop that can happen from that type of pressure haha
